Sheperd’s Pie (LOW CARB)
Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef or turkey
1/2 onion, chopped
1 10 ounce package of frozen cauliflower
2 tablespoons heavy cream
4 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded
salt and pepper
Instructions:
Brown ground meat and onion as usual, drain. Spread meat and onion in the bottom of pie dish evenly. Cook cauliflower according to package directions, drain. Whip together cauliflower, 2 tbsp heavy cream, and cream cheese as if whipping mashed potatoes. Season with salt and pepper to your liking (or any other seasonings you might like) Spread whipped cauliflower over the meat layer in the dish. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese across the top.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 15 – 20 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbling.

Losing weight can be hard but you can find easy diets to help. Here are some suggestions.

For many years, the low carb (or Atkins) diet has been very popular. It can be very effective as well. What it basically entails in sticking to low carbohydrates and avoiding things like pasta, sugars, high fructose fruits, etc.
The interesting thing is that you can have as much low carb food as you’d like. Eat an entire chicken if you want. Or have a four egg ham and cheese omelet. Just skip the toast!
2. Cabbage soup diet
This is an easy to follow diet which has you eat lots of cabbage soup. It helps to flush your system of a lot of impurities and stimulates your body to burn more calories. Be careful and make certain you don’t stick with it too long because you still need to keep a balanced diet.
4. Prepackaged diet plans
These diet plans like NutriSystem has you eating prepackaged meals. This diet is really simple because you don’t need to figure out which foods to buy and mix and match to achieve your calorie goals. These diets can be expensive but they are certainly easy to follow.
5. Your own diet plan
Just follow a healthy eating plan and you will lose weight
In other words, avoid fast foods, high fat foods, and sugary foods. Stick with lean meats and fresh vegetables. Drink lots of water and avoid juices and sweetened beverages.
In this “home grown” diet plan, do simple exercises like walking, jogging, swimming, or even playing ball with your kids. Just get moving and you’ll burn some extra calories.
A good diet program doesn’t have to be complicated. Look around and you’ll find other plans which are effective and simple to implement.
Low Carb Recipe: Artichoke Stuffed Chicken

Artichoke Stuffed Chicken (LOW CARB)
Ingredients:
8 ounces cream cheese (0 carbs)
1 cup mayonaise (0 carbs)
1 cup sour cream (0 carbs)
1 cup parmesean cheese (0 carbs)
1 8.5 ounce can artichoke hearts sliced into small pieces (6 carbs)
Several pieces of celery, chopped
Instructions:
Mix the above together in a medium bowl. This will be our filling.
You’ll also need 4 to 6 average sized chicken breasts depending on how many people you are serving. Pound chicken breasts flat.
Spread the artichoke filling on top of the flattened chicken. Roll up and secure in place with a toothpick or skewer and put into baking dish. After all rolls are in place, sprinkle with parm cheese. Bake for 375 degrees F for 45 minutes until chicken juices run clear.
You will have likely left over filling, you can add this on top of the chicken or serve on the side at dinner time.
